Colorescience Return Policy Effective 8.1.2019

At Colorescience, we take great pride in our reputation for quality and customer satisfaction. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly accept returns or exchanges within 30 days of the date of purchase . These returns and exchanges may only be made for Colorescience product purchased at Colorescience.com. If your items were purchased through one of our authorized retailers, please return them to the location where they were purchased.

  • Refunds for items returned within 30 days of the purchase date will be made in the form of the original payment, minus expedited shipping costs.
  • Please note that it can take up to 5 business days to process a return or exchange. Please allow up to two billing cycles for a refund to appear on your credit card statement.
  • No refunds or exchanges will be accepted on sale items.

You will need a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number for your return to be accepted. Once you contact us, we will provide you with this number. Any returns sent back without an RMA cannot be accepted.

All returned or exchanged items must be in original packaging, may not be altered, and must contain at least 50% of the product. Any free promotional items or gifts with purchase must also be returned. We reserve the right to deny the return or exchange if the item is not returned complete with original packaging.

We will process one return per order, meaning that if your order contains more than one item and you wish to return or exchange more than one item, they must be processed together. We accept up to three individual returns or exchanges in a 365-day period. After three returns or exchanges, you may make another once 365 days have passed.

If you return an item, any Lasting Beauty Rewards points earned on the purchase of that item will be deducted from your account.

We reserve the right to refuse or deny any return requests or refunds at any time based on policy or program abuse. We may also change or update this return policy at any time.

Subscriptions

By signing up for the Colorescience subscription program, you authorize us to charge the credit card you've saved on file and ship product to you at the frequency you have selected (45, 60, 90 or 120 days). It is your responsibility to manage shipments and cancel scheduled shipments ahead of time, before they are sent out, if they are not wanted. Any returns processed on subscription renewal orders will be subject to a restocking fee of 15% of the purchase price.

Defective Items

We stand behind the quality of our products. If you are outside of our return period, and your product turns out to be defective, please contact us for assistance. Please keep in mind that our products are meant to be used daily and last up to 90 days. We reserve the right to refuse or deny a return or exchange for product that was purchased more than 90 days in the past.

Broken/Damaged/Incorrect Items

Once your order arrives, please examine it for any damage that may have occurred during shipping. If your item arrives broken or damaged, we hope you'll give us the opportunity to make it right. Please contact us within 24 hours of your package arriving so that a damage claim can be processed through the transportation company. Please do not throw away or destroy any part of the packaging, box, or products, or we will not be able to assist you with a return or exchange.

If you have received the wrong product, please contact us within 72 hours of receiving the product. Please do not throw away or destroy any part of the packaging, box, or products, or we will not be able to assist you with a return or exchange.

Canceling/Modifying Orders

To ensure that orders get to our customers as quickly as possible, our system begins processing orders as soon as they are placed. As a result, most orders cannot be canceled or modified after they have been placed. In some cases, if you call us (during business hours) within 1 hour of placing your order, we may be able to modify or cancel it.

If we are unable to cancel your order, we will provide you with instructions for returning your order and receiving a full refund, minus shipping costs.

Price Adjustments

If you purchased an item at regular price within the last 14 days and that item has since been further reduced due to a sale or promotion, you will be eligible for a price adjustment. Unfortunately, we do not conduct price adjustments for orders placed more than 14 days ago.
