Whether you’re suffering from rosacea or any type of skin redness you know how it can negatively affect your daily life. With April being National Rosacea Awareness Month, we’re reminded of those who are literally suffering every day both physically and emotionally. Those who struggle with the flushing, itching, burning, dryness and swelling of rosacea are constantly battling discomfort and lowered self-esteem. According to the National Rosacea Society, nearly 90 percent of rosacea patients say the condition has lowered their self-confidence. This is why we created our All Calm® Clinical Redness Corrector SPF 50. It’s both an immediate and long-term redness and sensitivity reducer, meaning once you have the product in hand, you don’t have to wait a minute longer for relief.Continue reading »

How Do I Treat Dry Skin?
You can help nurture dehydrated skin naturally by making simple changes to your skincare routine. Start by limiting your shower time to about 10 minutes using warm—not hot—water. Splash your face gently and remove makeup using a fragrance-free, non-foaming makeup remover. Once you’ve removed any makeup and residue, gently pat your face dry with a towel. Close pores using a cleanser, but avoid those that contain drying agents like alcohol. Apply a water-based cream beneath your face powder for dry skin to help retain moisture throughout the day. Repeat this routine again at night when taking off your makeup to promote healthier, more hydrated skin.
The biggest secret to treating a dehydrated complexion—and not just concealing it with mineral powder for dry skin? Protect it from the sun! The sun’s harmful UV rays can penetrate the skin barrier, causing damage, dryness, and inflammation. Colorescience face powder for dry skin is packed with SPF 20 and makes a great sunscreen alternative if you don’t like the oily feel and odor of sunscreen lotions. Many sunscreens contain chemicals that can make parched pores worse, but our hydrating face powder for dry skin is light and won’t trigger irritation. Colorescience SPF comes in a portable tube you can take anywhere, allowing you to effortlessly touch up your makeup throughout the day and protect your skin at the same time.
How Do I Choose Makeup for Dry Skin?
If your skin lacks moisture, consider switching out your cosmetics. Choose a healthy powder for dry skin that contains organic ingredients to nurture your complexion. Using the right makeup for dry skin can make your complexion appear glowing and radiant. Some foundations contain oils that prevent moisture from getting in, while thick powders can cause flakiness and irritation—but not with the Colorescience formula!
Colorescience mineral powder for dry skin will be the answer to your makeup woes. Organic ingredients and a gentle formula provide full makeup coverage while also nourishing the skin beneath. Mineral makeup is lighter and requires less touch up than traditional foundations. If your dry skin is prone to inflammation, a sensitive skin face powder from Colorescience can provide skin-friendly coverage.
Don’t forget to reinforce your foundation with a good primer. Our hydrating face primer can smooth pores and fill fine lines to make your foundation last all day long.
What If I Have Oily Skin?
Do you have oily skin? We have you covered with primers for oily skin and powder sunscreen for oily skin. Other foundations contain artificial ingredients that may irritate your complexion and worsen breakouts, but our organic face powder for oily skin can help control sebum and cut down on shine.
Sunforgettable SPF 50 Keeps Me Protected!I love this product! I was introduced to the SPF 30 awhile ago by a friend and just discovered the new SPF 50! What a fantastic product! It's so easy to use and my little ones love it too! they're always asking for me to apply the sunscreen from the blue tube. Thanks Colorescience, for making sun protection fun and easy for the whole family!
Sunforgettable is essentialThe smooth sunforgettable primer is a perfect base for the mineral sunscreen. My skin has improved from using these products.
Best Foundation So Far!I used to be a Bare Minerals girl until my dad bought me this for Christmas 2014. Although my compact didn't last long (it's only Feb 17th), I am in love with the coverage; it goes on pretty fast (I'm used to the whole swirl, tap, buff routine), it covers dark circles and red marks very well without concealer, and it covers my pores too (i'm used to being disappointed with my makeup after a few hours, but over the last couple of months, I can't say I've noticed my pores hollering at me from under this foundation hahahaha). I am surprised at the price, but after researching the brand and finding out the creator was responsible for my Bare Minerals, I had to suck it up and make the purchase at a local salon. I will be adding more products to my repertoire, but I must say, the foundation is the HG and the minute this stuff is available at Sephora or Ulta, the makeup industry will be turned upside down because there's nothing comparable (in my eyes). Thank you!
World's best foundation powder! After years of trying dozens of foundations & not liking the results, I was hooked the first time I tried Colorescience second skin! It lasts a long time & I've been satisfied with this product for 9 years running! I hope they make this product forever!
Multi-pack is so worth it!!The multi-pack SPF 50 is incredible. It covers, protects and has anti-aging ingredients in the formula that help tighten, firm and give color to the skin.
