The Colorescience team is centered around our mission of improving lives. Each year we help over 3 million people achieve healthier, protected skin. Together we work to Do Good. Have Fun. and Make a Difference.
Our high-performance team is seeking a Clinical Science Educator — the clinical and scientific bridge between Colorescience and our practice partners, translating the science behind our products into product mastery, everyday clinic use, and broader adoption across the portfolio. CSEs are licensed aestheticians or aesthetic nurses who have lived the treatment room, and who now teach it: training partner teams on the science behind our products and integrating Colorescience into every step of the patient journey — post-procedure in the treatment room, pre-procedure in the protocol, and every day at home in the regimen. It's how we show that Colorescience is the company that cares the most — for patients, and for our partners. You'll work across our partner base — onboarding newly signed practices and deepening our established accounts alike — building product mastery, expanding portfolio adoption, and growing the value of every partnership.
CSEs launch new partners and grow the accounts we already have. You'll own clinical product and protocol integration across every touchpoint of the patient journey:
• Onboard new partners. Launch newly signed practices — initial team training, protocol set-up, and first-order product education — so new accounts are confident and selling from day one.
• Teach the science. Train providers, aestheticians, and staff on the clinical science behind Colorescience — mineral protection, ingredient technologies, and the evidence behind every protocol — so partner teams recommend with clinical conviction, not a sales script — deepening product adoption across the portfolio as they do.
• Integrate the treatment room. Embed post-procedure application into partners' clinical workflow — including the Finishing Touch Protocol — so every patient leaves the treatment room protected, calmed, and confident.
• Integrate the protocol. Build Colorescience into pre-procedure protocols, preparing skin ahead of treatment and connecting our products to the procedures partners already perform.
• Integrate the regimen. Equip partner teams to translate in-office results into everyday home-use regimens, so patients maintain daily protection and visible results between visits.
• Advance and certify. Keep partner teams current through Wear What Works, product webinars, and National Certifications — raising clinical expertise and portfolio adoption across your accounts.
• Grow the portfolio. Broaden the range of Colorescience products each practice uses — introducing complementary products and categories that fit their protocols and patients — to expand adoption and grow account value.
• Coach for retention. Return to accounts to reinforce training, refresh teams after staff turnover, and re-energize practices where protocol adoption has slipped.
• Work the Crew model. Partner cross-functionally with Business Development Strategists, New Business Development Managers, and the Area Director to align implementation plans with each account's growth plan, sharing field insights and best practices as you go.
• In 90 days: certified on the full Colorescience portfolio and protocols; leading trainings independently; onboarding new practices end-to-end; implementation plans in motion for your priority accounts.
• In year one: measurable lift in protocol utilization, portfolio adoption and penetration, provider recommendations, and staff certification — growing average account value across your accounts and activating new partners on protocol — with partners who describe your trainings as the best in their back bar.
Sample KPIs: growth in average account value; protocol utilization rate; portfolio penetration (product categories active per account); provider recommendation rate; new partner onboarding and time-to-first-protocol; certifications completed per quarter.
Colorescience CSEs are hungry, humble, and smart. They have accelerated skill sets including:
• EDUCATOR: a natural teacher who can turn product science into simple, memorable technique — and who can read a room of providers and win it.
• CLINICAL: credibility earned in the treatment room. Years of hands-on patient care mean you speak the language of providers and their teams — procedures, post-treatment care, skin physiology — as a peer, not a vendor.
• IMPLEMENTER: gets things live. Builds a plan, works the plan, and doesn't call it done until the protocol is running without you in the room.
• COMMUNICATOR: proactive communicator who finds value in sharing best practices with teammates and customers. Appreciates being coached and is coachable.
• ENGAGER: tenacity and creativity to keep partner teams activated and to re-engage practices where adoption has gone quiet.
• TECHNICAL: comfortable working in Salesforce, Looker, and Microsoft Office, and quick to pick up Colorescience-specific systems.
• AGILE: love of learning, thrives launching something new, and can manage through uncertainty.
• Required: current licensed aesthetician or RN with a minimum of 5 years of in-clinic (Dermatology/Med Spa), hands-on patient experience.
• Required: prior experience training or educating clinical teams in medical aesthetics or professional skincare, with demonstrated success.
• Required: prior systems experience with demonstrated ability to swiftly adopt process.
• Preferred: experience with physician-dispensed skincare brands; additional clinical credentials (e.g., RN, master aesthetician).
• This is a hybrid role with regular travel to partner accounts — expect 60% travel, including overnight.
• Aligned to the Education Team. Applicants must live in the following state within 45 minutes of a major airport — New York (New York City area), Illinois (Chicago area).
• This is a key role in the Colorescience Crew-based model — you will be working in a team setting.
• Reports directly to the Global Director of Education.
• We are an ambitious group. We move fast and hold each other accountable.
For the informed and discerning skincare user who knows great results require daily skincare and protection, we are the brand of healthy skin transformation — wearable, multifunctional products that deliver immediate confidence and long-term visible results.
