Summary:
The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality and safety standards through inspections, testing, and documentation. Working closely with the Quality, Operations, R&D Teams to fulfill quality and regulatory requirements. This position requires teamwork, communication, and technical skills. This position will support and maintain compliance with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), Quality Standards, and maintain quality protocols and quality culture within the Department and Colorescience.

Job Summary
The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality and safety standards through inspections, testing, and documentation. Working closely with the Quality, Operations, R&D Teams to fulfill quality and regulatory requirements. This position requires teamwork, communication, and technical skills. This position will support and maintain compliance with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), Quality Standards, and maintain quality protocols and quality culture within the Department and Colorescience inc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Thorough examination of products to identify and ensure that they meet quality standards and specifications
· Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and findings, and prepare reports to document quality issues and process improvements
· Assist in identifying and tracking defects and discrepancies to support continuous improvement efforts to prevent recurrence
· Prepare reports and documentation as needed
· Interpret and apply quality assurance standards, methodologies, and regulations
· Collaborate with team and other departments on quality topics
Education and/or Experience/Skills
· Graduate student in science, biology or chemistry related fields
· Basic knowledge of manufacturing procedures and techniques
· Strong attention to detail
· Demonstrated strong organizational skills including ability to prioritize tasks
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of the team
· Ability to follow instructions and procedures
· Proficiency and expertise in Microsoft platforms, (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is a requirement
· Ability to adjust to company “Team Culture”, to work and communicate effectively through the organization
