IS SUNSCREEN SAFE FOR MY BABY’S SKIN?

Your baby’s skin is extra sensitive to just about every outside element as they’re being introduced to new things every day. Protecting your baby’s skin from UV light is especially important to prevent skin cancer and other dangerous heat-related illness.

Per FDA recommendation, our Total Protection® products are safe to apply to children 6 months and older. For use on children under 6 months of age, please consult your physician.

HOW ELSE CAN I PROTECT MY BABY’S SKIN?

Using a safe baby sunscreen is the most important step in protecting your child’s skin — but parents should always take extra steps to keep them safe from the sun. Cover up your baby’s skin while out and about in the sun with hats, long-sleeved shirts, pants, and rashguards when swimming. Minimize your baby’s exposure to the sun and heat by avoiding the outdoors between 10-2pm, and keep them in the shade whenever possible. And even if the sun’s not totally visible, you should still apply baby sunscreen to make sure they’re safe from UV rays.
