1. OPEN: Remove brush cap, pull back the sleeve, and remove and discard the rubber band. Put cap back on.
2. ACTIVATE: With the cap still on, hold the brush with cap facing down and tap 3-5 times on a hard surface. Put some power behind those taps! Then remove the cap and run your finger through the bristles to ensure powder is flowing. Repeat tapping if needed, until you see a small puff of powder in the air when running your finger through the bristles.
3. APPLY: Using small circular motions, sweep directly onto dry bare skin, moisturized skin, or over makeup. Apply generously across your face for at least 60 seconds while making multiple passes. Don't forget about your ears, neck and other areas! Reload more powder into bristles by giving the brush a good shake with bristles facing downwards, or recap, tap, and flick as necessary during application. If applying directly over a moisturizer, primer or liquid foundation, ensure products have fully set before applying Sunforgettable®. Reapply at least every two hours for continued protection.

I’m a Medical Aesthetician who worked in Dermatology. I use this SPF 50 powder over my Colorscience Sunforgettable SPF 50 in Glow . I live in Florida where the Sun is very strong all seasons . This is what I use daily for my routine instead of makeup. My only issue is I wish they also made the lose powder in a separate container . I find that it does get clogged after a while ! other than that it’s my go to.!!!👍🏻

We're so glad to hear you're loving Brush-On Shield Glow SPF 50 and that it's become such an essential part of your daily routine!
We do find that the Sunforgettable brushes can clog due to the build-up of oils or product on the brush bristles from your skin. We do recommend cleaning the brush by pouring an ample amount of rubbing alcohol or alcohol-based brush cleaner on a paper towel and wiping through the bristles until clean, and allowing it to fully dry. You should clean your brush at least once a week with the brush facing upward then set it on its side to dry (overnight is best before placing the cap back on). Additionally, one of the best ways to prevent clogging with the brush is to wait a few minutes after applying moisturizer, primer or any other under layers to allow time to dry on the face.
Powder also needs to be reloaded into the brush with each use. We do recommend a couple taps of the brush cap-side down in the palm of your hand or on a hard surface before each use just to get that brush loaded with powder. You do not need to do as many taps or tap as hard as you did for the initial brush activation. This is just a quick way to ensure you are loading the powder into your brush and staying protected.
Another way you can access the powder is by unscrewing the bottom teal cap and pouring the powder out into a powder sifter jar.

Should you find that your Sunforgettable® Brush is releasing more powder than you prefer, simply repeat this step by gently flicking the bristles to release any excess.
Repeat steps 1-6 as needed until powder flows consistently.
7. Apply and reapply every two hours to ensure continued SPF 50 protection.
