What Is The Best Cream for Hyperpigmentation?
From serums to specially formulated hyperpigmentation creams, there are a vast assortment of skincare products on the market that are designed to treat unwanted pigmentation. When figuring out how to treat skin discoloration, you need to consider the specific traits of your unique hyperpigmentation including where it is on the body and the intensity of color.
For hyperpigmentation, treatments that contain retinoids, hydroquinone, and vitamin C are often recommended. There are also several procedures that have been known to improve the condition including chemical peels and laser therapy. Keep in mind that picking at an injury can lead to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, so if you’ve cut or burned yourself, have developed a cystic lesion, or have otherwise injured your skin, be sure to avoid irritating the area. You can also use a skin pigmentation cream to help get rid of any discoloration that does occur.
If you have melasma, which are large grey or dark patches that often develop during pregnancy or when using hormonal oral contraceptives, you can use lightening topical creams or corticosteroids. However, it might clear up on its own when you’re no longer pregnant or change contraceptives. Rosacea is often confused for hyperpigmentation because it causes the skin to appear red or flushed. While it is not the same, some of the same pigmentation creams for your face may be useful. You can use medication, undergo a procedure, or use face cream for rosacea, but these treatments are typically temporary.
To treat the area under your eye, our cream for dark circles is likely the best solution to target this specific instance of discoloration. Our gentle hyperpigmentation creams use natural ingredients to safely brighten and rejuvenate your undereyes and other sensitive areas.
While many products can help you manage hyperpigmentation, it usually takes a combination of factors to keep skin discoloration under control. You may need to visit a dermatologist if your condition does not improve or worsens.
How do you get rid of pigmentation fast?
Our Even Up® Clinical Pigment Perfector® with SPF 50 offers impressive short-term and long-term benefits. Even Up® provides immediate color correction by instantly diminishing the appearance of discoloration while also protecting your skin in the long term by shielding it from harmful UV rays, thanks to SPF. Many customers use it as a primer during their daily makeup routine. While Even UP® can provide instant enhancement, in some cases it may take a few weeks for skin pigmentation to truly fade. When treating hyperpigmentation, it is important to use skin pigmentation cream as directed to see the fastest results.
In addition to using an anti-pigmentation cream, you’ll want to take preventive measures to protect your skin and prevent your condition from worsening. Sun exposure can contribute to pigmentation issues because it triggers melanin production, so you should protect your complexion using a face primer with SPF. We even offer a special primer for sensitive skin that can provide sufficient coverage as it conceals unevenness in your skin tone.
While you cannot necessarily remove hyperpigmentation permanently, there are ways to manage it. Your dermatologist can also evaluate your skin and create a personalized treatment plan based on your skin type and other underlying factors to help you address hyperpigmentation as quickly as possible.
What Vitamin Is Good for Hyperpigmentation?
Most face pigmentation creams include one or more vitamins such as vitamin C, E, A, and B12. Vitamin C helps treat hyperpigmentation because it prevents melanin production while vitamin A can help even out your skin tone. It is often recommended to take vitamin E along with vitamin C if you suffer from melasma because it promotes skin vitality. In cases where skin discoloration is caused by a vitamin B12 deficiency, increasing your intake or applying it topically may be beneficial. Remember, before you add any supplements to your diet, it is important to consult your physician first.
While skin discoloration may be new to you and cause you to feel understandably distressed, there are many ways to treat hyperpigmentation and likely one that will restore your skin to normal. When choosing an anti-pigmentation cream as part of your regimen, it’s highly recommended that you select one that is good for your skin’s overall health. After all, you don’t want to get control of hyperpigmentation just to have to deal with another difficult skin condition that pops up in its wake.

All Calm is perfect for redness from rosacea! All Calm solved my redness so completely that I am using blush for the first time in years!
Sooo Soothing!!I absolutely love this product! With my natural reddish/pink tones...it really tones down my color and helps soothe my acne. I also notice that it helps heal my acne faster and helps prevents scaring. I have actually been known to put this on my acne spots after washing my face before bed! Would absolutely recommend this product to anyone!
Makes skin look healthy and gives even tone!I never would have thought a bronzer would look good on me. As a pale redhead with rosacea, I always thought using a bronzer would make me look like I was wearing the equivalent of "suntan shade" pantyhose on my face. I got this bronzer, however, in a sample, and I am a convert. After I apply it, I don't look like I have been spray-tanned; I just look healthy and my skin has a nice even tone. As a child of the 80s, I see that today's bronzers are nothing like the wacky ones I tried in middle school. Thank goodness!
Hydrating and Soothing!Just got this at my dermatologist's office and I love it! I spritz it on after makeup. My skin is set for the day!
Even Up Clinical Pigment Perfector SPF 50I’ve love using this all in one. A little thick to spread but overall a really amazing product
Great calming perfector for the face!I love this calming perfector for the face. It really calms everything down and covers and conceals imperfections.
